Everyday events shaping our existence unfold, and history gets distorted the moment new events unfold, this was an example of what transpired at the love feast of an online youth platform "Voice Of Plateau Youths (VOPY).
The youths under the umbrella of VOPY conceived and organised one of a kind love feast. The even which was anchored by Comrades Jamda and Chamzy, saw youths from across the three senatorial zones of the state come together to discuss, encourage each other and celebrate the beauty of togetherness to the amazement of everyone in attendance, it was a gathering of who and who as it pertains youths activism, from active participants of not too young to run notable among who is Arch. Hart Bankat, experienced veterans who find joy in encouraging the upcoming worthy of note is the chairman Plateau State Larger House Chief Maqual George and Emmanuel Nanle the Director of Press to the Plateau State Governor etc, to the transitional, and those still in the latent stage of youths activism not leaving out vibrant young entertainers spearheaded by comrade Alfred Makut (Seemo).
Ruby's Garden Rayfield the venue of the event was filled with fun and shouts of joy throughout the event as the youths took out time to say a farewell to the year 2017.
Retrospective report of how the platform came about was given by the convener a one time NAPSS President comrade Vilret John Enoch.
Chairperson of the committee Zakiya Usman Zumunta (ZUZ) thanked all for showing commitment to the success of the event.
The event featured introduction, advice, interaction, and dance sessions, organisers assured that the programme will be an annual event and encourage the youths to make efforts to change the narrative and make their contributions in the coming year by pursuing issues that benefits them and the state and not just a political party.
Climax of the occasion was sessions of photo shots and exchange of pleasantries.
