Supporters and well-wishers started trooping out en-masse and gathered at the Secretariat Junction Jos as early as 6:30 AM to embark on the humanitarian campaign and cancer patients admitted at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) were beneficiaries.
The Campaigned featured among other things cash donations, walk to create awareness on the signs, symptoms and preventive measures on cancer, media chats as well as mini get-together to create an atmosphere of love, unity and togetherness Hon. Magdalene Na'anyil Dokogol in her goodwill message said it was promising touching lives positively and renewing the hope of cancer patients. She equally calls on humanitarians and public spirited individuals to invest in the lives of cancer patients because according to her, investment in the lives of cancer patients can go a long way in making their lives better and helping them to achieve their dreams.Photos of the event are given below.
