3 Governors, 1 Minister, Prominent Nigerians storm Jos for 2017 Governors Golf Tournament

The rebound of Jos-Plateau as the home of peace and tourism gained attraction as 3 Governors and a minister indulged in golf. Gov Abdullahi Abubakar of Bauchi, Gov Gaius Obaseke of Edo and Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi. Indeed history was made when Gov Simon Lalong, the host, delivered the 'green' after more than 100 years of golfing on the 'brown' - only golfers will get my drift. The economy of Jos received a boost as more than 500 golfers competed at the 2017 Governors Golf Tournament.
