JOHN POFI CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION

PRESS STATEMENT

Rev John Pofi, JP has described the most recent attack which led to the death of Rev fathers Joseph Gor and Felix Tyolaha as well as many worshippers as  barbaric, inhuman and animalistic which does not speak well of the country.

The Governorship Aspirant who was saddened by the callous act, made a passionate appeal to the federal government to restructure the security architecture of Benue state so as to rescue the lives of the remaining people of the state.

In a statement signed by the media officer, John Pofi Campaign Organisation, Philip Jibi, Rev John Pofi wondered why a group of mercenaries will be more powerful than the federal might as he called on states to begin to strengthen, support and encourage internal security like vigilante to safeguard the lives of their people.

Rev John Pofi, JP called for vigilance and restraint from those whose relations were killed and injured, though very painful to leave vengeance to God.

The plateau state Governorship hopeful also prayed to God to bring an end to the massacre of innocent citizens in Benue and his state plateau and also to expose them.

The statement also called for vigilance on the part of the residents believing that tears may last through out the night but joy will surely come in the morning.

Press release: John Pofi Campaign organization sends heartfelt sympathy over recent killing of Irigwe youths

JOHN POFI CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION

PRESS STATEMENT

Rev John Pofi, JP is commiserating with the Irigwe nation over the lost of its four able youths who were gruesomely murdered in cold blood while trying to fend for themselves through legitimate means.

The John Pofi  Campaign Organisation is worried over the incessant killings in plateau state while the state government seems to look the other way without any tangible assurance to the people about their safety.

As usual but not right, those at the helm of affairs have come out to condemn and that ends it.

Rev John Pofi's ideology towards such issues is to change the approach of fighting criminality and not to wait until it happens before it can be greeted by series of condemnation.

John Pofi wishes to once again register his dismay over the attacks in some parts of the state as well as plead with those whose relations were killed to take heart and not to go for reprisals which will not do anybody any good.

The Governorship Aspirant who prayed for peace in the state assured plateau people that, a peaceful plateau is possible as he called for every body's contribution towards achieving a better plateau.
