Dr. Mazadu Dader Bako sympathizes with Rev. Soja Bewarang over Mrs. Mercy Bewarang’s death

Dr. Mazadu Dader Bako has received the news of the death of Mrs. Mercy Bewarang wife of former COCIN president and immediate past chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Rev. Dr. Soja Bewarang with deep sadness and shock.

In a press release by his media team sympathizing with Rev. Bewarang and the family, Dr. Bako said “Mrs. Bewarang died at a time her wisdom and love for humanity was needed the most as the world is enmeshed in crisis and many troubles of monumental impact.”

He said Mrs. Bewarang’s legacies of love, peace and passion for unity in society will never be erased in people’s hearts especially within the COCIN family worldwide.

In his words, he said “May the soul of Mrs. Mercy Bewarang rest in peace. My condolences to Rev. Soja Bewarang and the entire family.”

I received the news of mama Mercy Bewarang’s death with shock and deep sadness. Alas, death came stealthily and snatched a woman of virtue from us.

That was a tragedy too many. Mama Bewarang had no doubt contributed immeasurably to the growth and development of the body of Christ and the society at large. Her uncommon wisdom, legacies and passion for humanity will be greatly missed. She showed incredible sacrifices and commitment over time to empower youths and women with godly and moral values. She changed the course of history and I salute her courage.

We can’t question God. He gives and takes. The Bible says, “precious in the sight of God is the death of his Saint.” That was his ultimate will to take Mrs. Bewarang to be with him in paradise.

I register my heartfelt condolences to Rev. Dr. Soja Bewarang and the family for mama’s Demise. May her gentle soul rest in peace with the Lord.

Ziphion Chrysanthus Flags off Chip Unity Football Tournament amidst mammoth crowd

The Founder and CEO of "Ziphion Chrysanthus Foundation" Hon. Ziphion Chrysanthus who is also the CEO of Tizona Synergy Ltd Abuja has officially flagged off the Chip Unity Football Tournament 2020 sponsored by his Foundation at LEA primary school football field  Longkat Chip District Saturday 15th August 2020.

The event which drew mammoth crowd was greeted by showers of encomiums, commendations and goodwill messages by youth groups, elders, community leaders and participating teams. 

In his remarks, the sponsor of the tournament Mr. Ziphion Chrysanthus said he did it because of his unfailing loyalty to his people and burning passion to foster unity among the different communities in Mhiship Land through sports. He further noted that such events should be organised regularly in order to help the youths reach their full potential in sports and contribute meaningfully to society.

In his goodwill message, a representative of Ziphion's delegation from Abuja comrade Adeyemi Friday said one of the ways of encouraging development at the grassroots level "Is to bring together youths under 1 umbrella to pursue a common cause that has an increasingly positive impact on society."

Pharm. Lengyang Tali on his part praised the initiative and and tagged it an exceptional development project while encouraging Ziphion Chrysanthus to do more for his people so the land would be blessed.

Before the flag-off, Ziphion Chrysanthus and his delegation upon arrival paid a courtesy visit to the Long Mhiship Nda Wesley Mulak II at his palace for royal Blessings. In his speech, the royal father encouraged the youths to be worthy ambassadors of their land and promote unity in diversity.

The event officially ended at 6PM and an announcement was made that the grand finale of the tournament would be on the 26th of September at the same venue by 1PM.

Apparently concerned about the development of his people and the need to have them improve their computer skills for greater future benefits, Dr. Mazadu Dader Bako established the Shantong ICT Center and was officially launched March 2020 in Mangu Local Government with state-of-the-art facilities/technology. It has a total number of 256 computers and got official clearance to be used as JAMB examination centre. On the other hand, the Shang Tong Hotel & Suites creating job opportunities and revenue for Mangu Local Government courtesy of Dr. Mazadu was opened in December 2015 for public use.

Born on June 24, 1958, Dr. Mazadu Dader Bako hails from Gyambwas village in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. He attended Demonstration School Gindiri from 1966-1972. Thereafter, he proceeded to Government College, Makurdi from 1973-1977. From 1978-1982, he attended the University of Maiduguri and obtained B.Sc. (Hons) Geology and graduated with a First Class then proceeded to pursue his MSc (1984/1985) in Water & Waste Engineering, Loughborough University, UK.

He currently holds a Ph. D in Geology obtained at Loughborough University, England, United Kingdom from 1986 – 1988. He’s at present the Managing Director

Shang Tong Nigeria Limited and a Consultant in Oil & Gas.

Eid el-Kabir: Prof Dakas CJ Dakas (SAN) calls on Muslim Ummah to pray for peace and unity of Plateau State

In the spirit of Eid el-Kabir celebration, Prof. Dakas CJ Dakas a former Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Jos has conveyed his warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the Plateau and Nigeria at large. 

The felicitation was contained in a Press Statement signed and made available to journalists in Jos by his media and Strategic Engagement Team.

Prof. Dakas urges all Muslims to imbibe the noble virtues of Prophet Mohammed (SWT) in order to establish closer connection between religious teachings and practice.

He further calls on Muslim worshippers not to forget the symbolic significance of the sacrifices of the Eid el kabir, noting that, "It is a moment of sober reflection and an opportunity to show love in all ramifications of life."

Eid-el-Kabir: Hon. Na'anyil Dakogol Greets Muslim Ummah

 

The MD/CEO of MEG Cancer Foundation Hon. Na'anyil Dakogol has congratulated the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, the festival of sacrifice.

 

In a message of felicitation to the Muslim community made available by her media consultant in Jos, Hon. Dakogol appealed for reflections on the tradition of deep faith that the festival marks. She urged citizens to remain conscious of the continuing peril of Covid-19 and act to protect themselves and others by complying with the health protocols.

Dr. Mazadu Dader Bako Felicitates with Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir

Dr. Bako in a Press release said as we celebrate this auspicious occasion, it is important that the lessons and message it teaches and conveys are not lost on us. He therefore urge us all, to imbibe the spirit of love, obedience to God and sacrifice bequeathed to the world by Prophet Mohammed (SWT), which are some of its hallmarks and historical significance.

Dr Bako also emphasises that the period should also be, not only for celebrations and merry making, but also for sober reflections and desire, indeed, efforts to get closer to God Almighty in our actions and utterances by exhibiting the quintessential values of love, peace and good neighbourliness, all of which are encapsulated in the fear of God.
